Mark your calendars to join us at our Rock Hill location for our next Giveback Tuesday event on September 22! Our chosen charity this time is Delta Center, which supports people with disabilities and their communities in order to remove barriers and promote positive changes leading to greater independence for everyone.
Each month, we’re proud to feature a local nonprofit organization and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the charity. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. Thanks to our generous customers, we have donated $237,795 to local nonprofit organizations so far!
Funds raised will support their Equipment Exchange program, which recycles used durable medical equipment for income-eligible adults who need it but can’t afford it. Equipment includes:
Formed in 1997 by a group of local citizens with disabilities and others concerned about disability issues, Delta Center serves more than 200 people with disabilities residing in the St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties each year.
“Delta Center is incredibly proud to work with Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria in an effort to raise money that will fund the crucial programs we provide for people with disabilities,” said Jim Ruedin, executive director of Delta Center.
