Join us this month for our September Giveback Tuesday, which is set for September 26 in Rock Hill. This month, our Giveback Tuesday event will benefit Project, Inc.
Every month, we are proud to feature a local nonprofit charity and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the charity. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. So far, we have donated more than $120,000 to local nonprofit organizations!
Funds raised from this Giveback Tuesday event will go toward supporting Project, Inc.’s general operating expenses that are incurred as they fulfill their mission of providing dignified long-term employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Project, Inc. is the oldest of the 89 sheltered workshops in the region and has been serving St. Louis since 1958. Located near The Hill, Project, Inc.’s entire workforce of 92 adults is comprised of disabled individuals. These individuals are given meaningful, long-term jobs through custom packaging, assembly work, and quality inspection for local businesses in a positive, fostering, social environment. Project, Inc. even offers a choir for those who like to sing, and the workers who enjoy drawing have created drawings to use in adult coloring books, along with stationery, gift tags, and holiday cards.
Please join us in donating to Project, Inc. The more you order, the more money we can raise! Remember: 100% of the profits from every purchase, dine-in and carryout, from open to close will be donated!
Please call us at (314) 942-6555 with any questions or visit us online at www.katiespizzaandpasta.com. Be sure to read more about Project, Inc. and the work they do by visiting www.projectinc.org.
We hope to see you on September 26 at Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria in Rock Hill!
Our upcoming Giveback Tuesday event will take place on August 27, and you won’t want to miss it! We are donating the day’s profits to Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Harris House.
Let’s come together and help these charities fulfill their respective missions of improving the human condition through plant science, treating and defeating childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases, and helping people reconnect with their lives by disconnecting with drug and alcohol addiction.
