Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria Opens New Frozen Headquarters

You better be sitting, and ready for some award-winning pizza, because Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria has some exciting news! We’re proud to announce that we’ve officially launched our new frozen headquarters.

This new facility will add 20 new jobs to our company and plenty of space for research and development of exciting new products for both frozen and the restaurants. This means, that, along with the originals, we’ve developed some new pizza and pasta flavors. The new flavors include:

  • Wood-fired sausage, mushroom, and bacon pizza
  • Wood-fired Italian vegetable pizza
  • Black garlic burrata cheese pizza
  • Fresh house-made black spaghetti

Stay tuned for toasted raviolis next month!

As well as being able to find our frozen pizzas at our two KPPO locations in Saint Louis and at Dierbergs Market, most recently, Katie’s has also partnered with H.E.B Central Markets, found throughout Texas, and also look forward to Katie’s Pizza in Whole Foods Market in the Greater Kansas City Area within the next few months.

Along with our in-store options, we now deliver our frozen pizzas all over the nation! Yes, that includes Hawaii and Alaska. Order online through our website www.katiespizza.com.

We offer FedEx Same Day within a 35-mile radius of Saint Louis and two-day shipping for the rest of the nation! Our improved shipping methods ensure that pizza lovers across the nation will be able to taste our pizza. All frozen pizzas are hand stretched and wood-fired with the best specialty Italian ingredients and then sealed and blast frozen, so they taste like they were just made fresh in the restaurant.

Our Frozen Pivot Story

When the COVID pandemic restricted how restaurants do busines, we quickly prototyped our first frozen pizza using the same team, techniques, wood-fired ovens, and specialty ingredients we use for our in-house pizzas.

Thanks to your love of these pizzas, great refinement of the product, and hard work, we have award-winning frozen pizzas and a new business that saved us from closing our brick-and-mortar restaurants, but, most importantly, saved 100+ jobs.

We’ve learned some powerful lessons—mostly perseverance and the incredibly positive effect a strong team and community can have on our business.

Katie’s Frozen Headquarters

Spiegelglass Construction and Edward Don built our new facility equipped with two of the largest size wood-fired ovens from Earthstone and the largest boos block table you’ve ever seen, custom made by John Boos Co. This space was built specifically to cater to our hand-made frozen pizza process.

Why You Should Buy Katie’s Frozen Pizzas

As an award-winning restaurant, we can guarantee that our frozen products will leave you feeling satisfied yet hungry for more.

We would also like to remind our patrons of the philanthropy they could be a part of with Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria. We are continuing our “Giveback Tuesday” program, which donates 100% of our earned profits one Tuesday a month to local charities in need. Additionally, for every frozen pizza order, we donate a frozen pizza to our local area food banks. To date, Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria has donated over $260,000 and thousands of frozen pizzas.

So, what are you waiting for? Order online today at www.katiespizza.com, or visit our locations in Rock Hill or Town Country to get an authentic taste of Italy made with the love and care you can only find in the Midwest.

Again, we would like to give thanks for all the support from our community and patrons, as well as a special thanks to our incredible team for always making it happen!
