Every month Katie’s Pizza and Pasta Osteria features a local nonprofit charity and donates 100 percent of all proceeds from everything sold, the entire day, to the charity. Lunch, dinner, drinks, happy hour and carryout are all included. To date, we have raised and donated $57,000 for local charities! Join us at 9568 Manchester Rd. on Tuesday, May 24th from 11am-10pm to help us giveback!
May’s Giveback recipient is The Animal Protective Association of Missouri. The APA is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people and pets together, advancing humane education, and creating programs beneficial to the human/animal bond. It was established in 1922 and has been at its current location since 1947. In November 2014, the APA lobby and brand went through renovations to convey an inviting feeling to the public.
The majority of the work the APA does is through adoptions and educating the public about animal welfare. They often teach educational classes to grade schools and girl and boy scout troops, inviting them to celebrate their birthdays with the Adoption Center. The APA also visits senior living communities to visit and bring joy to the residents with their PetReach dogs and sometimes pigs! They use their innovative programs and low-cost veterinary wellness clinic to fulfill their mission of bringing people and pets together and keeping them together.
All funds raised from this event will go toward general operating needs such as direct animal caretaking, water, vaccinations, spaying and neutering surgeries, medications, and animal care staff and enhancements to our animals’ enrichment (dog park, equipment, cat condos, etc.).

Let’s come together and help meet the needs of individuals with brain injuries, impact the lives of youth, military, and diverse populations, and serve people impacted by HIV.
