Be sure to join us in Rock Hill on July 25 for our next Giveback Tuesday event! The profits will be donated to Giving is a Family Tradition (GiFT), a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to supporting families with critically ill newborns.
Twice a month, we’re proud to feature a local nonprofit charity and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the organization. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. So far, Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria has donated $366,667.00 to nonprofit organizations here in St. Louis.
Funds raised from Giveback Tuesday will go toward GiFT’s Destination Home program. This program helps families prepare to bring their infant home after prolonged hospitalization in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit). In 2023, the program will serve more than 160 families.
Newborns requiring admittance to the NICU may be hospitalized for the first several months of their lives or longer, which causes increased levels of emotional, financial, and logistical stress for families. Through the Destination Home program, families are equipped to create a safe home environment with infant care essentials and education on infant health and safety.

GiFT started out as a family tradition known as The Holiday Project. In 2003, founder and NICU Registered Nurse Jennifer Krassinger realized some families were unable to get basic essentials ready when it was time for their baby to go home. The Holiday Project helps families by providing new, wrapped gifts during the winter holiday season. Support grew each year, and in 2011, GiFT launched the Destination Home program and became an official nonprofit.
Be sure to mark your calendars for our Giveback Tuesday event this month! 100% of earned profits will be benefiting Giving is a Family Tradition (GiFT) and supporting the great work they do.
