Let’s Come Together on November 28 for Gratitude House!

What’s better than enjoying delicious, handmade Italian food? Supporting a worthy cause at the same time! Let’s come together on November 28 for our upcoming Giveback Tuesday event at our Rock Hill location.

The profits will be donated to Gratitude House, a nonprofit organization working to open sober living homes for women recovering from drug or alcohol addiction. This will be the first of its kind in St. Louis County.

Katie's Pizza’s Giveback Initiative

Twice a month, we’re proud to feature a local nonprofit charity and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the organization. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. So far, Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria has donated $398,796 to nonprofit organizations here in St. Louis.

Gratitude House will use the funds raised from Giveback Tuesday to help cover the costs of purchasing its first home as well as beds, mattresses, bedding, towels, and kitchen and dining essentials.

About Gratitude House

Staff members and volunteers at Gratitude House are dedicated to providing a structured, supportive, and loving environment, helping women reintegrate into their lives after rehab.

• Relapse rates for all substance use disorders are 40 to 60%.
• Within the first year following treatment, it is common for the majority of individuals to resume alcohol and drug use. This relapse typically occurs within the first 30–90 days.
• The lack of perceived social support, especially social support from family, friends, and the community, can lead to relapse.

Gratitude House, founded in 2019 by a group of women in 12-step programs, is here to make a difference!

They will serve 8 women at a time, who must be clean and sober for 30 days to qualify for residency. Co-founder and Executive Director Beth Drewett, who has 3 decades of sobriety, will be the live-in housemother.

While at the house, women must also take on social responsibilities. They can have a job, go to school, or do volunteer work.

Residents will participate in a 12-step program, a holistic approach that recognizes individuals must heal all aspects of themselves in order to achieve a healthy balance. This includes one’s spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health. Participants will go through the program with a sponsor and support group.
