Join Us on September 27 for Our Next Giveback Tuesday!

September 09, 2016

Be sure to join us this month for our September Giveback Tuesday, which is set for Tues., September 27. This month, our Giveback Tuesday event will benefit Miriam School.

Every month, we are proud to feature a local nonprofit charity and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the charity. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carry-out all go to the designated charity. We started Giveback Tuesday in July 2014 and have since donated over $80,000 to local non-profit charities.

Since 1956, Miriam School has been helping children with learning disabilities throughout the St. Louis region excel and become successful. Through their small, nurturing environment, individualized approach, and staff’s expertise, Miriam helps more than 1,000 students who have complex learning disabilities within a 70-mile range of St. Louis. They provide three programs for students, including Miriam School, Miriam Academy, and Miriam Learning Center, an elementary and middle school, a high school, and an educational center for those who wish to remain in their current environment while accessing Miriam’s range of services, respectively.

“We are so excited to be partnering with Katie’s on this event,” said Janine Lawler, Individual Giving and Events Manager at Miriam School. “Miriam School has a long history of helping children with learning disabilities unlock their potential, and we are grateful for being the next local nonprofit organization to benefit from this great event.”

All funds donated from the Giveback Tuesday event will go directly toward Miriam’s annual tuition assistance campaign.

“With more than 50 percent of our students receiving some level of financial aid, the funds from this event will allow a number of our students to receive the educational environment and services that they need to reach their potential,” Lawler said.

Please join us in donating to Miriam School. The more you order, the more money we can raise! Remember: 100% of the profits from every purchase, dine-in, and carry-out from open to close will be donated!

We hope to see you on September 27 at Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria in Rock Hill!
