‘Tis the season of giving so Giveback Tuesday will be taking place just three days before Christmas on December 22 at our Town & Country location. We’re incredibly excited to team up with DOORWAYS, a nonprofit that provides housing and related supportive services to improve quality of life and health outcomes for people affected by HIV.
Due to ongoing St. Louis County COVID-19 restrictions, we will be limited to curbside pickup and limited patio seating.
Each month, we’re proud to feature a local nonprofit charity and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the organization. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. So far, Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria has donated $242,693 to nonprofit organizations here in St. Louis!
“Opportunities like Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria’s Giveback Tuesday event are crucial for us being able to provide stable and safe housing, which allows people to focus on their health,” said Opal M. Jones, DOORWAYS president and CEO. “Additionally, there are better health outcomes when people are stably housed. This includes a reduction in viral load counts which renders the virus untransmittable, helping to end its spread.”
Giveback Tuesday’s donation will benefit DOORWAYS by assisting them in providing direct financial assistance to individuals and families who are struggling with homelessness or unstable housing. They provide housing and related supportive services to people in 124 counties throughout the St. Louis region. In FY 2020, DOORWAYS served 3,073 men, women, and children.
Safe, affordable housing, which is critical for diverse individuals during various phases of health and illness, has become a pressing need. DOORWAYS serves all people affected by HIV/AIDS regardless of age, color, creed, physical or mental disability, ethnicity, familial status, gender identity and expression, national origin, race, religion, pregnancy, sex or sexual orientation.
Through direct service delivery and the efforts of identified program partners, DOORWAYS’ programs and services benefit those affected by HIV/AIDS in the 15-county St. Louis metropolitan area, 62 under-served counties in outstate Missouri and another 55 under-served counties in outstate Illinois.

What’s better than enjoying delicious, handmade Italian food? Supporting a worthy cause at the same time! Let’s come together on November 28 for our upcoming Giveback Tuesday event at our Rock Hill location.
The profits will be donated to Gratitude House, a nonprofit organization working to open sober living homes for women recovering from drug or alcohol addiction. This will be the first of its kind in St. Louis County.
