JOIN US ON APRIL 25 AND HELP NIGHTLIGHT CHRISTIAN ADOPTIONS!

Be sure to join us in Town and Country on April 25 for our next Giveback Tuesday event! This month, we are partnering with Nightlight Christian Adoptions, a nonprofit organization that offers adoption and foster services. Its Hillsboro, MO location serves St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Columbia, and all of Missouri.

Each month, we’re proud to feature a local nonprofit charity and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the organization. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. So far, Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria has donated $352,902.00 to nonprofit organizations here in St. Louis.

Funds raised from Giveback Tuesday will be used to support birth parents in making a wise and loving choice for their child's future and secure permanency for children in foster care through family reunification or adoption.

Nightlight Christian Adoptions gives adoptive parents the tools to parent an adopted child who may have unique and special needs through educational programs and guidance. They offer:

Additionally, through the Post Adoption Connection Center, they provide:

  • home study services,
  • training for families,
  • coaching,
  • and continued support.

The home study is tailored for the type of adoption and takes about 2 to 3 months to complete. It consists of interviews, a tour of the home, education, and paperwork.

Nightlight Christian Adoptions was founded in 1959 in CA. Love Basket, Inc., based in Hillsboro, MO, merged with the nonprofit organization in 2016. Nationwide in 2022, there were:

  • 62 domestic adoptions,
  • 112 international adoptions,
  • 116 waiting international children matched with families,
  • 137 children placed in foster care across 70 licensed foster homes,
  • 190 home studies,
  • and 321 expectant parent contacts received.

The nationwide nonprofit also saw the birth of its 1,000th embryo adoption baby!

Be sure to mark your calendars for our Giveback Tuesday event this month! 100% of earned profits will be benefiting Nightlight Christian Adoptions and supporting the great work they do. Give us a call at (314) 942-6555 with any questions, and visit www.katiespizzaandpasta.com to make a dinner reservation or order curbside pickup. Our event is taking place on April 25 at our Town and Country location, and we look forward to seeing you there!
