If you’ve dined on our patio this summer, you’ve more than likely noticed our colorful tomatoes growing in the patio garden. We specifically chose to grow heirloom tomatoes. The difference? Flavor! Heirloom tomatoes have a sweet, tangy flavor. More specifically, heirloom refers to the fact that the seeds have been passed down from gardener to gardener, for generations in some cases, unlike modern hybrid varieties. Plus, they have fun names like “Believe It Or Not,” “Jersey Devil,” and the Italian name, “Costoluto Genovese.”
Sample our heirloom tomatoes in our Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Caprese Salad with kalamata olives, fresh basil, lemon and balsamic vinaigrette. Pairs well with an Italian martini and our patio! Join us any day of the week or make a reservation by calling 314-942-6555.
Our upcoming Giveback Tuesday event will take place on August 27, and you won’t want to miss it! We are donating the day’s profits to Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Harris House.
Let’s come together and help these charities fulfill their respective missions of improving the human condition through plant science, treating and defeating childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases, and helping people reconnect with their lives by disconnecting with drug and alcohol addiction.
