Join Us for Our August Giveback Tuesday!

Join Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria this August 23 at our Town & Country location for our Giveback Tuesday event!

This month we will be donating 100% of our profits from the day to Marygrove, a nonprofit that provides a safe home, compassionate care, and high-quality mental health services to children who have experienced significant trauma.

Katies Pizza’s Giveback Initiative

We’re proud to feature a local nonprofit charity each month and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the organization. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. So far, Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria has donated $331,665 to nonprofit organizations here in St. Louis!

Marygrove

Funds donated to Marygrove will support serving approximately 200 children and youth, ages birth to 21, per day through Marygrove’s continuum of residential and community-based programs.

By providing treatment and support to children and youth struggling with debilitating emotional and behavioral issues resulting from abuse, neglect, trauma, and abandonment, Marygrove helps ensure their successful transition back into the care of a family member, another permanent home, or independent living.

Founded in 1849 as the House of Good Shepard, a St. Louis Home for girls, Marygrove has a rich history and is now one of Missouri's most extensive therapeutic residential treatment programs.

Every year, Marygrove enriches the lives of nearly 700 children through services including:

  • Therapeutic residential treatment and foster care
  • Transitional and independent living
  • Special education and recreational therapy
  • Family counseling
  • Parenting education

The children and young adults at Marygrove live and grow in a safe, nurturing environment and can heal in a stable, family-like setting.

Professional caregivers provide compassion, encouragement, and structure. In contrast, therapists provide individualized treatment plans and counseling to help each child overcome personal obstacles and establish responsible, attainable goals for the short and long-term future.

Without Marygrove, most of these children would have few alternatives for housing and face life on the street, in prison, or an institution. That is why Marygrove is so important.

Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria

At Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria, we care deeply about the well-being of our community members, especially our children. We are proud to support Marygrove and its endeavors to rehabilitate and heal the children who need it the most.

There’s a lot to be excited about this month. We opened our Ballpark Village location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 22, our third and biggest location with nearly 10,000 sq. ft. It’s located on Clark Ave, across the street from Gate 4 at Busch Stadium. We’re also now donating twice a month to a local nonprofit. Nonprofits that join the Giveback Tuesday program through the Ballpark Village location will be unique, with a focus on giving back to the city of St. Louis and youth sports programs.
