It’s time to circle February 23rd on your calendars! That’s when Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria is hosting our next Giveback Tuesday in Town & Country. Who’s the lucky recipient? We’re partnering up with Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition!
February will be slightly different than the last few months as our dining room is now open at 25% capacity (for dinner hours only). For those who cannot make a reservation in time, curbside pickup and limited patio seating will still be available.
Each month, we’re proud to feature a local nonprofit charity and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the organization. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. So far, Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria has donated $246,649 to nonprofit organizations here in St. Louis!
The Coalition strives to create permanency in every foster child’s life by recruiting and supporting foster and adoptive families in the St. Louis metropolitan community. Funds raised through Giveback Tuesday will be used to support their groundbreaking programs. These help to find homes and create a support system so that their kids can heal.
A majority of the work done at the Coalition is placement in their Extreme Recruitment® or 30 Days to Family® programs. They also have intensive support programs, which help children and families learn from each other and work together. Some of these include additional trauma trainings with a focus on Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), crisis support (Family Works, STEPS), Educational Advocacy, and Parent Support Groups.

Let’s come together and help these charities fulfill their respective missions of improving the human condition through plant science, treating and defeating childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases, and helping people reconnect with their lives by disconnecting with drug and alcohol addiction.
