Get ready for our next Giveback Tuesday, which is set for December 15. This time, we are raising money for the Harris House, an organization dedicated to helping individuals struggling with addiction to alcohol and drugs to help them achieve sobriety and become healthy and productive individuals.
Giveback Tuesday is an event that we here at Katie’s Pizza & Pasta are really passionate about. We believe this is an amazing opportunity to connect with the community and give back to local organizations that do so much for our community. We started #GivebackTuesday in July 2014 and have donated more than $44,000 to local STL non-profit charities.
Since 1961, the Harris House has become one of the top-rated, non-profit treatment centers serving more than 500 people yearly with about 111 beds grouped by program within the seven buildings in South St. Louis. The Harris House’s success is based on 50 years of experience and studying what works. In addition to treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, the Harris House also provides its residents with training in employment skills, anger and stress management, depression, and anxiety.
