Giveback Tuesday is Back: Join us on May 28!

What does it mean to be a part of a community? We believe it’s all about showing you care by offering support to those who need it. And on May 28, KPPO will be celebrating Giveback Tuesday once again at our Rockhill location to do just that. This month, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis will be our focus.

Every month, we are proud to feature a local nonprofit charity and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the charity. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. So far, we’ve donated $196,723 to local nonprofit organizations.

Giveback Tuesday will directly benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for St. Louis Children's Hospital and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Combined, they accommodate over 475,000 treatment visits each year. Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, and critical hospital renovations.

“Pediatric medical care is the most expensive to provide, in part because of all the different sizes of equipment needed to treat children ranging in size from a one-pound micro-preemie to a six-foot-tall high school football player,” said Melissa Hanstein, Director of Events & Marketing at CMN-STL. “Our member hospitals open their doors to all children, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Partnering with Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria helps us ensure our hospitals are able to continue providing the best care possible to all children."

Since 1988, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis has provided over $45 million of support. Most funds are raised $1 at a time through the charity’s Miracle Balloon icons, various fundraising efforts with partners, and programs like Dance Marathon. All efforts are to support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

Mark your calendars for our Giveback Tuesday event at our Rock Hill location to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis. Remember: 100% of the net profits from the entire day will be donated, so bring your friends and family along for a fun night filled with delicious food!

There’s a lot to be excited about this month. We opened our Ballpark Village location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 22, our third and biggest location with nearly 10,000 sq. ft. It’s located on Clark Ave, across the street from Gate 4 at Busch Stadium. We’re also now donating twice a month to a local nonprofit. Nonprofits that join the Giveback Tuesday program through the Ballpark Village location will be unique, with a focus on giving back to the city of St. Louis and youth sports programs.
